Castle Environmental are very pleased to announce that our new £1Million state-of-the-art
above-ground treatment and immobilisation process is fully operational.
The process and plant is EA permitted and fully compliant with all relevant standards .
This means that you can continue to send us materials suitable for this treatment process,
safe in the knowledge that not only are you meeting your statutory Duty of Care requirements,
but that your wastes are being handled at a properly permitted facility and in the most
environmentally appropriate manner, utilising Best Available Technology.
The completion of this project marks the end of a sustained 15 month capital expenditure
programme to replace much of the core infrastructure and equipment at both our Stoke and
Ilkeston sites.
In addition we have made a substantial investment in an Ash Washing facility at our Stoke site.
The process enables waste Ash to be treated, washed and processed to a standard suitable
for reuse and / or recovery and thereby avoid the requirement for landfilling. We are continuing
to develop relationships with both ash producers and end product users. If you require further
